| 'The Legal Practice Division brings to life the global voice of the legal profession in a number of ways: specialist conferences throughout the world, an abundance of publications aimed at specific practice areas, projects aimed at sharing best practices and streamlining cross-jurisdictional practice, and working groups submitting comments to shape international legislation creation and reform. Members of the Legal Practice Division have a unique opportunity to join the dialogue and to have a direct effect on the state of the profession in their particular area of practice, while keeping up to date on the latest developments and participating in a powerful network of over 30,000 members across the globe.' |
Introduction to the Division
The objectives of the Legal Practice Division are to promote an interchange of information and views among its Members as to laws, practices and professional responsibilities relating to the practice of law throughout the world; to facilitate communication among its Members; to provide the opportunity to all its Members to be active in the Division through its Sections, Committees, Fora and other groupings; and to undertake such related projects as may be approved from time to time by the Division’s Council.
